Anaheim 1 2023
450 After Heat 1, I was ready to crown Eli champion. He's not my favorite rider, but my only question was whether or not he would gel with the new bike. Heat 1 answered that question - he looked exactly like the 2022 champ. The main event, on other other hand, made an argument that he was better th...

Re: Mad Skills Motocross 3 Out Now
I'm a big fan of MSM2. I downloaded MSM3 a few months ago - it's good too Much improved graphics and all that.
I like the variable terrain aspect. I'm hoping it has the "versus" version from MSM2 added now? I have to admit I switched back to MSM2, so I haven't been playing #3 lately.

Re: WTB 2017 Husqvarna Fork and Shock Springs: TE300 and FE501
I have 5.0N/mm fork springs and a 5.2Kg/mm shock spring from a 2016 KTM 350 XCF - do those fit your bike? Fork springs are for 4cs forks and the shock is from the new frame style.

Re: Convincing Wife to Let Children Ride
I don't have any particularly great advice for you - but I'm at a similar stage with my son so I can empathize. My wife isn't opposed to the whole idea of bikes; living on an acreage with a track I think she realizes its inevitable. I want to hurry up and get my son a stacyc though and she's n...

Re: 2019 AMSA Races
NIce. Thanks for the info. It's nice those first two aren't too far away - and that the latter two aren't something I have to attend to participate in the series.

2019 AMSA Races
The schedule is up - there's some new events on there: https://www.amsaoffroad.ca/schedule Does anyone know where Bushbasher and Tombstone will be? Panorama is gone? :crybaby: Monkey Wrench and Courduroy are infeasibly far away for me. Are these going to be included in the series officially (i.e. mu...

What?! Well that might change my plans... Where was this news? The poster is still up on their website. Are you sure that they cancelled it? This was supposed to be a RMC club race, not a CMA event like marble mountain. https://www.rockymotorcycleclub.ca/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/2018-Gloomy-Creek-...

Re: Flat Track race Aug 18th in Strathmore
Just FYI, there's another national round of flat track race this coming weekend in Drumheller. I'm going to race the Gloomy Creek harescramble, so I'm not going to make it. However, just spit-balling, there's a provincial flat track race on Sept 22-23. A double-header at "TAIL CREEK RACEWAY" near Al...

Re: KTM Brake Pedal - 2016 KTM 350XCF
Since I so confidently boasted that my stock tip was holding solid at 80 hrs I thought I would post an update: I broke off my tip maybe 10hrs later during the MRSI race. I ended up making a replacement out of some scrap steel. Certainly no featherweight (or beautiful piece of custom machinin...

Re: Flat Track race Aug 18th in Strathmore
Seriously, it was a blast. I like going fast and it was surprising how much grip was available. More horsepower would definitely help - I was full throttle in all the straights and at least for the last 1/3 of every corner. I was going to make some comments about the classes since there's some impor...
