ok, so PDS is better for trail, and non PDS is better for track? Good to know! i have done a bunch of mountain biking so that is why i think i will like trail more, but i want to try both and see where i lean too ( if not both!). From what i have been hewing, the XC seems to be the way to go for me....

Ok, so avoid an 08. I have been looking at 09+ anyway. What is pds non-linkage?

Ok perfect!

Im pretty sold on the ktm 250 XC. Im buying it used though, is there a year not to buy them at?
Like is there any significant changes between any recentish years?

I have been reading up on the KTMs, but =h the xc and sx. It says that they both have adjustable power curves? What does this mean exactly? Also i have been reading up on the 4 strokes too, and it seems that they have more handling? Is this significant or can a guy get used to the 2 stroke handling ...
