Re: Porcupine hills
I've never ridden at Porcupine and intend to go there soon with another rider who's not been to Porcupine. We'll be riding the bike trails and have the latest Georeferenced maps. Question is: which trails are the holy sh*t trails? I'd prefer to start off with relatively simple trails. E.g. no trails...

Nitromousse NM18-285 for sale
Fewer than 10 hours on the mousse. It is slightly too small for my 110/100 MX52 tire.

Re: Tech Tip - Servicing your suspension linkage
Give the shock the occasional fluid change, and lube the pivots with Bel Ray waterproof grease once in a while seems to be all it asks for. Does that answer your question? The service manual indicates the Heim joints are Teflon-coated and should not be lubricated with grease or other lubricants or ...

KTM 2T Spark Arrestor
I somehow thought my 2017 300 XC-W came with a spark arrestor. It doesn't.
What are the downsides of using a spark arrestor cap rather than a new silencer?

2000 XR250R
Great starter bike. I've ridden the bike for 3 years at McLean and am moving up to a 300 2T. Engine is completely stock. Minor mods to exhaust tip but still very quiet. Timing chain changed last winter. - Well maintained. - Tires and sprockets new this year. - Shock was serviced last year. Suspensio...

Re: Heart Rate Monitors
I've had 2 heart rate monitors - the first was a Polar Accurex II that I purchased in the mid 90s. It had just about every feature available at the time and since I wasn't sure what I wanted I bought it. The electrodes on the chest strap fell apart (the plastic tore) a couple of years ago so I got a...

Looks like a lot of fun. Be sure to check your chain tension before you ride - it looks tight enough that things may be damaged if you ride it the way it is.

Re: New Rider Trailer Options
I'm in a similar situation - little space for a trailer. I have a RAV4 which has too little capacity to use a hitch-mounted carrier. There are at least 2 more avenues you can pursue: http://www.motorcycletrailer.com or http://www.bccargotrailers.com BC Cargo Trailers is in Armstrong, and although th...
