Re: Will Porkies remain open for riding?

I hope there is a future as well as I ride the Porkies 95% of the time.

Do you have any links to the government survey or other information?

Will Porkies remain open for riding?

Have a friend that lives in Lethbridge and rides Porkies almost exclusively. He is connected with the farmers and ranchers in the area and has heard that the ranchers want to shut down access to the Porkies for offroad use. I'm not sure how much pull the ranchers have, but has anyone else heard this...

Re: The 2011 Season is here..

Wow Howard, you make it look easy. Although I'm not near as fast as the rest of you, I would love to run a few races this year (now here comes the excuse). Problem is that I hurt my knee last year so I'm riding a little scared. Can anyone recommend a good (a preferably cheap) knee brace that will ke...

Re: 09 KTM 300 XC/W Flywheel Puller

I really appreciate the response, but I ended up ordering one from Cycle Works this morning. Once I'm done with it, I will be more than happy to lend out if needed.

09 KTM 300 XC/W Flywheel Puller

Neither Blackfoot or Cycleworks has one in stock so I'm hoping someone here has one I can either buy or borrow. I believe the size is 26mm. Send a private pm if you can help.

I'm in south Calgary so hopefully I can find someone near me.

Thanks,
Kevin

Re: Starter not working

Who would have guessed that there could be so much rust in such a small starter. Jeff Slavens has a good solution to these problematic starters.

Starter not working

Just picked up a 2009 KTM 300 XC-W and the starter was not working when I looked at it. The guy indicated that the battery just needs charging and that it failed last winter as well. Took the bike home and put a charger on it overnight, but it is still not working. It does click, but doesn't even at...

Re: Looking for storage

Any idea how much as the question was asked on that forum a few times and never answered. For being that far away, it would have to be cheap.

Thanks for the link

Looking for storage

Anyone know of a secure and relatively inexpensive place that I can store my cruiser and 4 dirt bikes (3 kids and 1 adult) for 4-5 months? Most places that store bikes want $50+ per month per bike. I can only afford $100 per month for all bikes. I am willing to share cost of storage bay or lockable ...

Re: New KTM 300, now what?

I'm wearing a TekVest Rally MAX vest I bought this year, and I can't say enough good things about it. This information couldn't have come at a better time as I nearly impaled myself last Sunday. In fact, my shirt has a nice big hole in it and my abdomen is scratched and welted up. The TekVest is qu...
