Recent Moab Trip
Well I just got back from my trip to Moab. My only advice for those who have not yet been to Moab is get there! Trails are everywhere, the scenery is like riding on Mars, the town is very cool, and the trip is actually very inexpensive. We drove to Salt Lake City the first day, and then got to the f...

Re: 18" KTM Wheel
Thanks Dobi, I'll keep my eyes open for parts. I am pretty sure I would never feel the difference between an 18" rim and a 19" rim either. What I wanted to try out was a trials tire on the back and I don't think they exist in 19". Good to know I can likely get away without having to change my hub.

Re: 18" KTM Wheel
Thanks Allison. Bit more than I wanted to spend on what is basically an experiment, but I will keep it in mind. Question for you. Can I buy just the rim and spokes from you and then lace it to my stock KTM hub? If so, how much?

18" KTM Wheel
I am looking for an 18" rear wheel for my 2003 525sx. I don't need the brake disk or sprocket, but I'll take them if you want. I think most KTM wheels are interchangeable so let me know what you have.
Thanks,
Brent
Thanks,
Brent

Re: 2011 CLUB SWAP MEET, FEB. 3
I enjoyed the swap meet last night. Good job all. Special thanks to RMDRA and Cycle Works for the prize I was lucky enough to walk away with! That Ogio bag is awesome. After checking it out last night I don't know how I got along without it. I can't wait to load it up and go ride.

Re: Winter riding
Thank you for all the advice everybody. This is why I love being a part of RMDRA! I am definitely going to take Brent up on his offer and at least try his tires wile I ponder spending real money. Two things I know for sure are that our season is too short and that the ground is already pretty frozen...

Re: Winter riding
Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I should clarify that I am probably as Thirtyseven describes “thinking of just getting out on a budget, or just for some fresh air during a Chinook”. Nothing about my riding is hardcore. I just am itching to try it without totally breaking the bank. I would like ...

Winter riding
I am thinking that I want to extend my season into the colder months. I have no experience with this and I have a bunch of questions for those of you who do. 1. Tires – Trellborgs, Michelin, Cheng Shin. Trellies are out of my price range, but I found a really good deal on Cheng Shins, about $300. Am...
