Re: 2017 Monster Energy Supercross

If you don't want to spend much, you can get a Raspberry Pi. Maybe it is not for the faint of heart (i.e. Might not hurt to be a little technical). Just picked up a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B starter kit for $75 at Memory Express. You'll need a USB mouse (required) and keyboard (optional) you may have s...

Re: Diesel Vs Big Gasser

It's all about the boost.

Wait a couple of years for Ecoboost 5.0 V8 and ask this question again. Can't wait for that debate.

Re: Fuel problem using shell nitro

Interesting that COOP premium doesn't have ethanol, I'm going to get some and test it. I had tested Esso premium a couple years ago and it had ethanol so I was using shell gold instead (a bit worried now though). I used coop diesel a couple years ago and I thought it caused some grief with my vehicl...

Re: HELP! Thread insert - helicoil

Hopefully someone will have something for you, but if not, you can probably get the size you need at Triad. I bought a few odd sizes a while ago (i.e. a few years ago), and I believe they just let me buy the number I needed. Triad Fasteners https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&c...

Re: 5 Miles of He!!

Thanks Rod, nice to know someone actually watches this stuff... Another good one Howard! BTW, I think people are watching, we're just not used to talking back to our regularTV programs. Keep 'em rolling, I need my fix! It's a bit of a blur, but I think it was somewhere around the end of yo...

Re: 5 Miles of He!!

Good stuff Howard!

We were there a few days before you. Definately glad we went, it was a great ride.

BTW, from the looks of things so far, you are going to need more crash footage/second attempts/swearing/etc. Just let me know and I'll pass mine along to you!

Re: '13 KTM 2stroke Throttle Safety Recall

I have the longer Motion Pro cable as well, and the problem still occurred. Both times for me were on some whoops as well, with a bit of speed. First time it stuck around 1/3rd to 1/2 throttle and second time wasn't as bad (maybe just around 10 %) Happened those two times on a 6-day trip. Cheers, Rod

Lol, I misunderstood your problem. My knee braces were rubbing/bugging me so the wool helped with that.

Looks like Dave's suggestion may be more on track!

Re: Sore knees

Merino wool long-johns from MEC. Merino wool is supposed to be good in hot or cold, I never get too hot wearing them. They withstand alot of abuse, and the chicks dig them. Rod P.S. When I bought them the sales associate said they came with a lifetime warranty. I ended up tearing a hole in mine and ...
