Re: licence plate

What's really disappointing is how they waste resources checking for registration while at the same time hunters are recklessly endangering our lives on the trail. I was riding at McClean Creek a few weeks ago, and two officers were on the trail checking registration, while only a few hundred meters...

Chambers Creek

Does anybody know how the riding is at the Chambers Creek OHV area west of Rocky Mountain House?

I'll be camping at Wilderness Village in the summer. You can stage from the campground & I will be bringing my bike with me, so i'm just wondering how the trails are.

Thanks

Re: MClean North Gate Open

North gate was open as of Wednesday night, and the road is open to Fisher East, but i'm not sure if the road is open all the way to Fisher South.

Re: Tuner Valley/Black Diamond

Bridge is still out between Black Diamond & Turner Valley, as of last night. HWY 40 is also closed approx. 60 km(?) west of Longview (just past the Eden Valley entrance). The road is washed out & currently under repairs as of last night. And if you're on a bike, watch out for a sludge load of cow sl...

Re: MCLEAN CREEK FLOOD DAMAGE

Fisher South staging area is open. I rode the area on Wednesday and the trails were relatively dry and in good shape.

Transporting Bike into USA and Back to Canada

:usa: I'm gonna haul my sportbike down to California to ride the coast & canyons for a few days. :canada: I know some of you take your dirt bikes into USA to ride on weekends or whatever, so i'm looking for any information to make the border crossing easier. I'll obviously have copies of my registra...

Re: McLean Today

I have heated grips on my dirt bike and ride during the winter but rarely turn the heaters on. My sport bike, however, has heated grips and they seem to be on more often than not during spring, autumn and early morning summer rides...... no real point here....other than our weather usually sucks aro...

Indian Graves

Went out to Indian Graves (Willow Creek) yesterday and conditions were great for this time of the year. The valley was good and the trail that runs along the road was very rideable with ice screws in my tires. The creek wasn't fully frozen over, so i stayed in the valley and rode the trails around t...

I drained the tranny oil, and it was pretty clean.

I'd say it's mostly muddy water in the engine - not so much thick, solid mud...

Mud in 2-Stroke Engine

Ok, so I've done it again - i've flooded my engine with muddy water thanks to yet another deep puddle....talk about frustrating.... :banghead: It's been two weeks, and after draining my pipe, cleaning my carb & changing the spark plug, I still can't get my bike to start ('08 KTM 250 XCW). After kick...

Thanks for the info - I'll rotate the forks.

On a similar note, I can't seem to find the tourque specs in the owners / service manual. Do you know what the spec'd tourque is for the triple clamps?

Fork Bleeders

I've installed factory fork bleeder valves on my 2008 KTM.

The stock bars & risers are at a height which exerts constant pressure on the bleeder button (on top). This means the forks are continually bled of air. My question is: Will this create any problems with my forks?
