2007 250 XC-F

Really clean. Less than 34 hours on the computer. Headlight and taillight. Bars guards, skid plate. JD jet kit so it runs very clean. 4800.00. I've been 'off' for two seasons so it's time to make someone else happy!

Re: Loctite - interesting info

Ok. I know I am truly a geek when I read through Pauls attachment on Loctite and get stoked to put something together!

Great service

Mike at Seitzco. I had a couple of problems with spare boot straps from Steen for my Crossfires and he was all over it like fog. In addition, he has been the only person willing to step up on stocking trials 'stuff' and complete supplies for the Scorpa's. Since I am riding orange and he's stained bl...

JFW Program

I went through their 'system' when dinosaurs still ruled the earth.

This was a great program that really helped me understand our natural resources, make money and mature.

I can recommend the group whole heartedly

Getting your wife started

I bought a button start 230 for Di to get going on. She's 5'4" We/she actually rode it around our cul-de-sac ( licenced it for the street. Sort of!) and some of the new home graded land behind our house. She also went through the safety council program. This REALLY eased the stress of the 'old husba...

The Leatt brace

I've used one all season now. Plusses....PROTECTION! Negatives: 1) Take your chest protector with you when you buy it. It may work without having to to whack the **** out of it. If not, it may be an excuse for a new chest protector! 2) Using a riding jacket is a royal pain. I ended up buying a new, ...

18" bar. Used it Friday for clean up at Fairmont. Had top go through a 2 foot diameter downed tree across a depression. After reading all the scary stories we built a mini sawhorse by supporting with cut logs all the way along to keep the tree from squishing us or pinching the bar. Worked well. Than...

Chainsaws

Just bought the Stihl 250 with the easy start option from Arn's on 42nd Ave. Bought the earmuffs/face protection, extra chain and premix oil and got a 'free' hat at 565.00 inc GST.

Is there an hour use frequency that the chain should be replaced at?

Insurance

My Life insurance and critical illness hinged on whether I had raced motorcycles in recent past. I am going to call another insurer to to see if racing would void a policy already in place.

My brother and I both have XCF's. JD kit set up as above in his and mine with just the O-ring and standard needle change. Mine bogs, dies and does not do anything until 1/3 throttle. His works. Conclusion? JD jet kit goes in mine today.

I had great success with Chris's rear spring and suspension mods on my four-fiddy. Compliant in the low speed and saved my *** on a high speed, blind washout hit. Correct sag is REALLY important, though.
