Hey Chilledspode, Looking at your pictures brough back a lot of memories. I learned how to ride in the sand pits. Spent a lot of time behind the golf course and the trail from Kam Lake to the pits. Good times. Unfortunately/fortunately I haven't been back in about 6 years. Though I was just talking ...

Man I hate to hear this.
If you find the guy(s), make 'em hurt.
Sad thing is, it's probably gone forever.
Keep us posted.

Those dirtbags are done with that chain by now. I had a 1/2" Grade 80 chain and a beast of a lock on my last stolen m/c. They busted (no cutting) the shackle right off from the body (frozen with nitrogen?). It was my second loss in 6 mos. Never saw either of them again. Hate to be a downer. On the b...

I'll back the Carlsbad too. I put one on last year and it held up really good. My riding is 90% rock and the thing hardly chunked. I was able to kill it in one afternoon (approx. 175kms) but that was a lot of abuse from me. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it didn't seem to track all t...

Dirtyboy,
I don't know who has them but I'm interested too. Mostly about the price.
I'll have to keep an eye on this thread.
Steve.

I'm still figuring out how to fully use the thing, so I guess my answer is, not yet!
When my computer blows up and I replace it with a Trailtech unit, then we'll talk!

Billings Hill Climb

Anybody ever been to the Billings Hill Climb? I've been interested in going for years now, and even (kind of) know some of the competitors now. I think I'm going to try and convince the wife to take me this year (I'm a kept man!!! :hide: ). July 29th and 30th, 2006, Billings, MT. http://visitmt.com/...

Dust to Glory

Anyone seen it yet? It seems to be all the rage on some of the other boards around. I haven't looked very hard for it in the video stores (I hate going into Blockbuster!), and I don't think it would be there anyway. Perhaps at the Uptown or another small theatre (can't remember what the place opposi...

Well, I did my search and here's what I came up with (other than not getting any work done today!): Wikco.com - $400 (ouch) MRP - $150 (still like this one best and I can get it in orange!) ZipTy - $90 (kind of the same as the MRP deal, but not on a post/stand) Motion Pro (Apparently they have one b...

Thanks Dobi. It'd be great to hook up and ride with you (and everyone else). To be honest I end up riding solo more often than not. Solo blows! Not sure where I stand skills wise, but hopefully that doesn't matter too much. I do hate (like everyone else) being the slow guy, but that's not usually th...

Tire Changing Stands

Anyone have a tire changing stand? I've looked at the MRP stand, but $150 plus plus plus is a little more than I want to spend. Especially not knowing whether it'll help my technique substantially. I'd be interested to hear of any experiences you guys/gals have had with them. Doesn't Zip-Ty make one...

Thanks guys, that picture was taken at our wedding this summer. My buddy Doug always says "Look stupid" instead of "Say cheese". I generally ride out of Corbin, in the Flathead. From there I've done most of the valley down to the border. Some great places to go are: Barnes Lake - Closed because of i...

Thanks MotorEd. Dobovich1 at Ktmtalk.com recommend you guys. I was/am looking for a Canadian suspension tuner. I'll be heading over to an appropriate forum soon. I'm still getting used to the navigational differences between the two sites. Finally got off my butt and got a photobucket account so I c...
